PRAYER REQUESTS
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble". Psalm 46:1
"If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land". 2 Chronicles 7:14
The Prayer Team is actively looking for individuals who would like to minister to our congregation by meeting with those who need prayer following the Sunday services. Volunteers are on duty once a month for one service. At this time, we particularly have a need for the following weeks/services: 1st Sunday/2nd Service, and 3rd Sunday/2nd Service. If you are interested in serving with the Prayer Team, please contact Liana Grace at 864-385-3368 or lgrace@fellowshipgreenville.org.
Please pray for these other requests:
- Elaine Gilliard went to be with her Lord and Savior early this week. Please join us in prayer for Ben Gilliard and his family during this time. There will be a Visitation at Fellowship Greenville Hwy 14 in Auditorium 2 on Friday, October 24, at 1:00 pm. A Service will follow at 2:00 pm.
- Please pray for Marty and Vanessa Hines. Marty's mom, Judith Ann Hines, went to be with Jesus on Saturday, October 4.
- Please pray for the family of Clair Harmon, whose cousin passed away last week.
- Kelly Wylie Koutsioukis asks for prayer for a friend with a recent cancer diagnosis and is very fearful.

GLOBAL NEWS OPPORTUNITY TO PRAY: TUNISIA

"Tunisia has a rich Christian history. It was the home of notable church fathers Tertullian and Cyprian as well as the Christian martyrs Perpetua and Felicity. The third Council of Carthage ratified the New Testament canon in Tunisia in A.D. 397. However, there are now few churches or Christians in Tunisia. Since the Arab Spring uprising, which began in Tunisia, the country has grown increasingly democratic; the Tunisian government became the first in North Africa to enact religious-freedom reforms. But even with a rich Christian history and increased religious freedom, the gospel is opposed by man.
Although the government has begun to implement certain religious-freedom reforms, change will take time in a Tunisian culture that has long been dominated by Islam. Some churches function openly, and Christian converts from Islam are free to worship in them, but open evangelism remains illegal. And while it is illegal for families to persecute their family members who leave Islam, such persecution still happens, and local governments still harass Christians. In rural areas, more severe persecution continues, as Muslim families feel shamed by family members who leave Islam." Via: Voice of the Martyrs
Way to pray: Please pray that God will bring more front-line workers to Tunisia! Workers there specifically mention the need for more women leaders.
MISSIONARY HIGHLIGHT: MACURA

Goran and Metka serve as church-planters in Slovenia. Goran heard the Gospel for the first time clearly while in a Rehab Center in Croatia. The acceptance and embrace from our Heavenly Father was exactly what Goran needed to turn his life around. Upon Goran's return to Slovenia, he met Metka who served with Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF), and they were soon married. Goran has been transformed by the Gospel, and he and Metka are now planting gospel seeds in Domzale, a city of 12,000 people and no evangelical church. This past year, Goran completed an Acts 29 CiHP Apprenticeship. This was training specific to planting churches in hard places.
Goran currently partners with ECM International while Metka continues working with CEF. He and Metka have planted a church in their city of Domzale. Their congregation is growing and they have had various opportunities to minister to those in their community. Goran and Metka have two children, Timeja and Jošija.
Way to Pray: Pray that God will open the ears and hearts of people around Goran and Metka so that they will be ready to receive the gospel message. Pray that God will grant Goran wisdom to know how to be a good father and husband. Pray for Goran and Metka as they continue to grow the church plant in Domzale and have new people join them. Pray that they will be a church who makes disciples who will grow in Jesus' love and from that become good Christian leaders. Finally, pray for them as they are finishing up a well-deserved sabbatical.
