Video Technology Director

Main Objective: To oversee the technical quality of the worship environments and auxiliary spaces, including volunteers, equipment, and systems/procedures, and ensure all video/visual equipment across all campuses is maintained and functioning correctly.
Job Description:
- Recruit, support, schedule, and train video volunteers in the operation of tech equipment for weekend worship services in the main auditoriums
- Care for, lead, and develop video tech volunteers to support weekend services
- Ensure quality execution of production elements in weekend worship services as determined by the worship department
- Ensure overall technical success and quality of live streaming of Sunday services and other events
- Produce weekly sermon video and audio podcast, and related media
- Provide support to the AVL team for all ministry events through ongoing cross-training and intentional, timely communication
- Support AVL for weekly events such as Bible studies - either directly by operating equipment or training department staff members to operate as needed
- Record and upload needed media to the appropriate digital storage platforms
- Execute the capture and post-production process for all required media
- Oversee the implementation and continuous evolution of the Tech Handbook
- Support special events, such as weddings, funerals, and third-party services as needed
- Other functions or duties as assigned by the supervisor
Critical Skills: Strong knowledge of video as it pertains to live worship and broadcast environments; troubleshooting skills to determine solutions to unique problems; ability to work with a team and delegate responsibilities to volunteers as needed; attention to detail, organized, and a strong communicator.

Job Status: Full-time, 40+ hrs., Sunday-Thursday with occasional nights and weekends
