Communications Creative Producer and Strategist

The applicant must be someone who loves Jesus and has a desire to put him on display. This person should be naturally creative and passionate about visual storytelling and strategy. Quality is paramount; you can move others toward tears and/or action. The applicant must be a self-starter who equally thrives in collaborative and independent projects and is passionate about using their skills to help others hear the Gospel and respond to Jesus.

Main Objective: Collaborate with the Communications Director and Team as they work to passionately put the love of Jesus on display through various creative mediums related to FG’s overall mission and vision.

Job Description:
  • Identify ways visual media can add value to communications and the church's online presence
  • Capture and deliver high-quality content—not always limited to video—for worship services, church ministries, and social media
  • Share and maintain video and sermon uploads to online platforms, including but not limited to YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
  • Develop creative and resourceful content for church ministries as needed and/or directed
  • Discover ways various tools can contribute to marketing strategies and streamline content within a ministry setting using an array of subscription-based platforms
  • Implement ongoing marketing techniques and trends pertaining to FG's social media and online presence (Local SEO, Google, Facebook, Instagram, X)
  • Maintain a digital media file archive system
  • Equip volunteers and staff who help with photography and video needs, process files, and make edits
  • Assist in the preparation of pre-production, gear hauling, setup, capturing of video and audio, and loading out for field production/story projects
Critical Skills: Basic knowledge of graphic design, lighting, camera, and shooting principles and techniques. Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite and all social media platforms. Ability to track and manage multiple projects and deadlines. Manage personal time and resources to best meet goals and deadlines. Have an eye for production that evicts emotion, desire, and impact for the target audience. Maintain a level of professionalism and consistency in creative content development as it relates to the brand and policies of Fellowship Greenville’s communication strategy.

Job Status: Full-time, 40 hours/week Mon-Fri, with some nights and weekends
