Event Childcare Assistant Director
This individual will support the Event Childcare (EC) Director in ensuring the EC staff members are equipped and prepared to care for the children in their classrooms through leadership, curriculum preparation, staff appreciation, and room management.
Main Objective: This individual will support the Event Childcare (EC) Director in ensuring the EC staff members are equipped and prepared to care for the children in their classrooms through leadership, curriculum preparation, staff appreciation, and room management.
Job Description:
Essential Functions:
- Back-up for EC Director (can run check-in, manage staff during a shift, communicate with parents, work in or assist in a room as needed)
- Training new EC employees, as well as any additional training/coaching needed for current staff working with EC Director to create training materials
- Assisting with curriculum/lesson planning & preparation
- Working with EC Coordinators to ensure lesson materials and activities are set up as needed before each shift
- Maintain the organization and inventory of supplies in the EC closet and storage areas of the EC Director's Office. Working with FG Kids Preschool Coordinator to ensure rooms are stocked and well maintained in the preschool building utilizing checklists of supplies and cleaning tasks
- Any other duties as assigned by supervisor

Job Status: Part-time, 15-25 hours per week
