Next Gen Ministry Assistant

Main Objective: The Next Gen Ministry Assistant supports the vibrant ministries of FG Students and FG Kids by managing event logistics, communications, and volunteer coordination, while also providing Sunday assistance in the preschool area. The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicative, and collaborative, with a passion for serving families and a commitment to the values of Fellowship Greenville.

Job Description:
  • Work with FG Students and FG Kids in planning and executing ministry events including but not limited to all administrative tasks for the event.
  • Work with facilities, events, communications, and other departments to ensure each event has the resources needed.
  • Handle communication of FG Students and FG Kids needs, scheduling, promotion/registration of events, and vendor contracts/ordering.
  • Assist Preschool Coordinator in the Nursery/Preschool area on Sunday.
  • Assist Coordinators with background checks, onboarding, and scheduling volunteers
  • Other functions or duties as assigned by supervisor
Critical Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with parents; Flexibility to be able to adjust when stepping into various age groups from nursery through high school; Self-starter with ability to work with little direction; Strong organization and attention to detail; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Google proficient with an aptitude for learning other computer programs

Job Status: Full-time 40 hours/week, Sunday-Thursday with occasional weekend events
