Juliet Prisca Anyango is a missionary serving the Lord in Kenya, East Africa. Juliet studied in Moyale, Garissa and Western Kenya. A graduate of the University of Nairobi, she has a bachelor’s degree with a major in Psychology and a minor in Sociology.
Juliet became a born again believer in her final year of university (2018). As she grew in her walk with God, she received a call to unreached people groups, especially the youth. Her desire is to spread the gospel and transform lives. Currently, she is working with World Mission Centre (WMC) as a frontier missionary in Moyale and surrounding villages.
A degree in Psychology has allowed Juliet to work with the high school students in Moyale town. Her main focus is working with the Christian students in the predominantly Muslim Schools, training them for missions work among tribal people by using the Live School Curriculum—a Missions and Leadership training curriculum that was designed by WMC. The training provided is a step to raising indigenous laborers as well as a future missions-minded generation to serve as senders. The plan is that when these students graduate and go on to university, Juliet would gain entrance into the university and establish a presence there with students she has already discipled in High School.
In December 2023, Juliet married John who is a teacher by profession. He serves as a teacher in a Muslim-dominated girl's high school. He is also passionate about reaching out and discipling Muslims, especially the youth.
Way to Pray: Pray as Juliet begins her next stage in life with her new husband. She and her husband, John, have moved to a different city in Kenya, where she has continued the type of work she's been doing. Pray for safety and the fruit of those they disciple! Please also pray for them as they build relationships with their neighbors and the community around them.
