John and Anna Kay Haskell have served with Baptist Mid-Missions since 1970 as church planters in the Netherlands. While in the Netherlands, the Haskells were instrumental in planting two churches, one in Breda and another in Bergen Op Zoom. Their focus was always to train nationals to lead the work of the local church, but they also consistently reached out to children and teens with the gospel and often held Bible studies in their home. John and Anna Kay had many opportunities to share the gospel with unbelievers over the years and were well loved by those in their community. The Haskells have four adult children, one of whom resides in Holland. In December of 2015, the Haskells officially retired from full-time ministry in the Netherlands and now reside in Mauldin, SC.
