Fellowship Greenville has been partnering with T.E.A.R.S (True Evangelism Always Requires Sacrifice) in the Dominican Republic since 2010 when we sent a small team to survey the work that T.E.A.R.S is doing. T.E.A.R.S. works with the poorest of the poor in the community of La Vega through church planting, education, community development, and more.
From June 14-22, a group of high school juniors and seniors from Greenville will partner with T.E.A.R.S. as they serve kids in the community of La Vega, Dominican Republic through sports camp, VBS, and light construction projects. The cost of this trip is $1,600, which includes airfare, transportation, project costs, lodging, and food. Upon approval of application, a 10% non-refundable deposit is due. Trip participants will be responsible for meals and snacks in the airports and for any souvenirs they wish to purchase. Additional costs may include an up-to-date passport and any shots the participant chooses to get.
