EPIC Retreat

EPIC 13 is all about the Spirit of God. This is quite possibly one of the most misunderstood and least focused on parts of who God is. But the Scriptures have a lot to say about Him. In fact, all the way back in Genesis 1 we are introduced to the Spirit of God as He is a part of the creation process but it doesn’t stop there. Literally, story after story, person after person, the Bible is constantly pointing us to the Spirit. One of the most notable and mysterious things about the Spirit is that He is a movement maker. Wherever He shows up, God’s people begin to move in ways that are in step with God himself. Big things happen. In fact, Jesus describes this in John chapter 3 as being like the wind itself. It blows where it pleases. You feel it, you experience it, you’re moved by it. So, we’re calling this year, “The Movement.”

One of the last pictures Jesus leaves us with while he was on this earth was instructing his followers on what will happen when the Spirit comes and when He did come a movement happened. People were believing in Jesus because the Spirit was moving. We believe that the Spirit is still stirring hearts today and is moving through God’s people to change the world. We believe in the movement of the Kingdom and we believe God wants you to be a part of it. Join us at EPIC 2019 to learn how. Our retreat speaker, our very own student pastor, Matt Densky, will be unfolding this theme with our students throughout the weekend.

This will be a time for students to get away from everyday distractions, really focus on growing in their relationship with God, have an unforgettably amazing time at camp. This energetic retreat for middle school and high school is not only full of learning about God and awesome worship, but also building and strengthening the faith of students through friendships and discipleship. This is an incredible opportunity for physical and spiritual rest, loads of fun, and a unique opportunity to jumpstart our student’s faith as they enter into the new school year. We hope to see you there!
