It is clear in scripture that God is both our Father (Psalm 103:13) and our Friend (John 15:15). We sing songs about this and appreciate the sentiment, but does that translate into our prayer lives? I hear you asking – do we really need a study on prayer? It’s simply talking to God, right? Yes, but we often turn it into a list of needs - which is okay - but prayer is much more than a list of requests.

If God is our Father and our Friend, we must know Him well. This means listening, dwelling, talking to, and knowing Him intimately. This is what His heart is for us.

Join us as we dive deeper in relationship with God and deeper in conversation with God. This study will focus on the kind of prayer that will lead us to calling on God as both our Father and our Friend.
