Missionary Meet & Greet

Stop by the table in the Commons on Sunday, September 8 to meet and encourage our missionaries in Slovenia, Goran and Metka Macura.

Goran and Metka serve as church-planters in Slovenia. Goran heard the Gospel for the first time clearly while in a Rehab Center in Croatia. The acceptance and embrace from our Heavenly Father was exactly what Goran needed to turn his life around. Upon Goran's return to Slovenia, he met Metka who served with Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF), and they were soon married.

Goran has been transformed by the Gospel, and he and Metka are now planting gospel seeds in Domzale, a city of 12,000 people and no evangelical church. Goran currently partners with ECM International while Metka continues working with CEF. He and Metka have planted a church in their city of Domzale. Their congregation is growing and they have had various opportunities to minister to those in their community. Goran and Metka have two children, Timeja and Jošija.
