Bible Study Basics

“Theology through Doxology”

Join us this Fall as we follow the Community Bible Reading (CBR) plan to read and reflect upon the Psalms together. The Psalms are an inspired means by which we learn to express our hearts to God. Not only do the Psalms instruct our praise and petitions to God, they also give voice to the words of God’s Anointed King. As such, we learn that the Psalms find their fullest expression in King Jesus.

This 10-week co-ed study and discussion group, led by Clayton Allen, will happen on Wednesday evenings at 7 pm in Room 177/78 from September 11th through November 20th. The suggested book to serve as a study guide is Interpreting the Psalms: An Exegetical Handbook by Mark D. Futato.

* Study starts on 9/11
