“Anyone who is patient has great understanding. But anyone who gets angry quickly shows how foolish they are.” Proverbs 14:29 (NIRV)
In any situation where we have to wait, we have a choice to make. We can choose to remain calm and be patient or we can choose to let ourselves get angry. Ask your kids these questions: What are some ways that impatience can hurt us? How does it hurt others? After some discussion, talk about ways that we can remain calm in moments of impatience and frustration such as stop and take a couple deep breaths or pray and ask God to give you patience in that moment.
