Day 5 | Recognizing God’s Grace Each New Day
Written by Dallas Greenaway
God’s grace permeates the entire Christian life. From forgiveness once and for all to our daily breath, all of life is a gift from God. Yet, we easily miss that he is relentlessly gracious with us, satisfying our every deepest need. How might our perspective and way of life change if we recognized God’s grace with each new day?
READ Psalm 103:1-22
“God relentlessly offers grace to people who do not deserve it, or seek it, or even appreciate it after they have been saved by it.” Tim Keller
- Grace is God’s kindness on the undeserving.
- Grace is God giving the greatest treasure to the least deserving, which is every one of us.
- Grace is an unmerited gift from God in any form.
What is your response when you come face-to-face with God’s grace?
- God’s grace reveals that we are needier than we know.
- God’s grace meets all of our deepest needs.
- God’s grace is greater than we have categories for.
- Jesus is grace in the flesh.
- God’s grace must be met with a response.
How will you respond to that grace today?
