REFLECT

What is your most prized possession? The Psalmist declares that the steadfast love of God is precious - the word he uses means rare, valuable, and costly. Isn’t this so true of God’s love for us? It’s the only love that is perfect, it is the only love that gives us our worth, and it is so costly that our Savior gave His life so we could experience it. When we really believe that God’s love for us is precious, we can rest safely in His protection.

RESPOND

Father in Heaven, thank you that your steadfast love is more precious than any gold, silver or jewels. Help us to marvel at the glorious truth that your love is where we can hide. As we experience tension and stress in this season with people who love us imperfectly, give us grace to be confident in your most valuable love.
