Next Gen Baptism

What steps do I take if my child or teenager wants to be baptized?

Welcome to the Next Gen Baptism page for kids and students (through 12th grade). Baptism is a great way for your child to say to the world, “Hey, I’ve decided to follow Jesus," so you've come to the right page to learn about that process.

NOTE: If you've already created an account on our website and you're signed in, you'll see your child's status in the baptism process (per our records) at the bottom of this page.

There's a simple, three-step process for your child to be baptized at Fellowship Greenville: register for a class, schedule a meeting with staff, and register for the baptism celebration. So let's get started, by following the specific steps below:

STEP 1. Complete a Stepping-In class, which helps you and your child learn all about baptism. This class also affirms their decision to trust in Jesus and teaches you how to help your child prepare a brief "Faith Story," which we'll share at their baptism celebration. The Stepping-In class is offered on Sunday mornings several times throughout the year.  Register for the next Stepping-In class below.

STEP 2. After completing the Stepping-In class, you’ll need to schedule a Baptism Interview. In this 30-minute visit with a member of our staff, you’ll talk about your faith story and make sure you’re ready for baptism. Register for a Baptism Interview below.

STEP 3. After the Baptism Interview, you’ll will receive a link to register for the soonest Next Gen Baptism on our calendar,  which is held three times a year. These events provide a great time for family and friends to celebrate this unforgettable day with you (see video below).
