"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble". Psalm 46:1
"If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land". 2 Chronicles 7:14
The Prayer Team is actively looking for individuals who would like to minister to our congregation by meeting with those who need prayer following the Sunday services. Volunteers are on duty once a month for one service. At this time, we particularly have a need for the following weeks/services: 1st Sunday/2nd Service, and 3rd Sunday/2nd Service. If you are interested in serving with the Prayer Team, please contact Liana Grace at 864-385-3368 or lgrace@fellowshipgreenville.org.

"The government of Nepal is taking an increasingly strong stand against religious conversion. Despite the 2015 constitution that guaranteed religious freedom, Parliament criminalized converting someone to another religion. Christian communities are small, but they boldly witness for Christ despite harassment and risk.
There is a small, visible Christian community in Nepal, but believers experience opposition from extremists among the Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist and Marxist groups. Christians face false accusations, harassment and beatings from family and communities. They also face opposition from local Hindu nationalists who envision Nepal becoming a “pure” Hindu nation. Christians are considered to be untouchables and are ostracized by society. They are seen as people who “destroy culture” and promote foreign religions." Via: Voice of the Martyrs
Way to pray: Pray that Christians whose churches have been attacked will reflect God's love to their persecutors. Please also pray for the country as there have been ongoing protests lately. To read more about that, you can visit this page.
Holly Beech (a graduate of Southside Christian School) began working with Trans World Radio (TWR) in 1997 during her studies at the Moody Bible Institute. That same year, Andrew Haas joined Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru) and began traveling as part of The JESUS Film Project. They met in 2006 during an Africa partnership project. Andrew soon moved to Johannesburg, South Africa, married Holly in 2008, and left Cru to join TWR. After serving together in Africa nine years, God called Andrew to a video position at TWR headquarters in North Carolina. He serves unreached oral people groups by helping deliver God's Word electronically through video. More and more bibleless people groups have access to smartphones allowing TWR to deliver series of short bible story films designed to facilitate discipleship and church planting through social media.
Way to Pray: Andrew and his TWR Motion team would appreciate prayers for the two-year process to develop a new 20 episode series of Bible story animations for Buddhists. Please also pray for Holly as her role as missions director for their church in Raleigh has continued to expand. Finally, please pray for them as they are actively on sabbatical right now. Pray that it is a time of refreshment for both of them.
Feeding 15 hungry people takes a village! Can you help? Our partner, Reach, needs people who love to cook, your community groups, or even a gift card donation to help provide this weekly meal for the students in their program. If you're interested, check out their meal train.
