PRAYER REQUESTS
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble". Psalm 46:1
"If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land". 2 Chronicles 7:14
The Prayer Team is actively looking for individuals who would like to minister to our congregation by meeting with those who need prayer following the Sunday services. Volunteers are on duty once a month for one service. At this time, we particularly have a need for the following weeks/services: 1st Sunday/2nd Service, and 3rd Sunday/2nd Service. If you are interested in serving with the Prayer Team, please contact Rebecca Cooke at 864-385-3368 or rcooke@fellowshipgreenville.org.
Please pray for these other requests:

GLOBAL NEWS OPPORTUNITY TO PRAY: YEMEN

"For many years, the people of Yemen have suffered from civil wars and violence from Islamic extremists, including al-Qaida. Although the situation has further deteriorated since the start of the most recent civil war, the gospel has flourished and many Yemeni Muslims have come to know Christ. Yemeni Christians have become bolder in their outreach efforts, though it is still extremely dangerous to even be identified as a Christian. They must reach out in creative ways that are both bold and wise. Small but steady numbers of Yemenis are continually being added to the body of Christ, and more are gaining interest as the influence of Christian media grows. Most regions of the country include at least one follower of Christ." Via: Voice of he Martyrs
Way to pray: Pray for Yemeni Christians who face food shortages and economic hardships amid the region's political unrest. Pray that media outreach ministries will make God's Word increasingly accessible in Yemen.
MISSIONARY HIGHLIGHT: MUNG

The Mung Family partners with Fellowship Greenville through LIVE GLOBAL (a ministry of ABWE). With a heart to train church leaders to serve as evangelists and church planters to reach Myanmar, Dr. Do Suan Mung founded Faith Baptist Bible College (FBBC) in his hometown of Tedim in 1986. In 1993, a seminary program was added. Over the years, students of Faith Baptist Bible College and Seminary have come from 8 states of Myanmar representing some 22 ethnic races. In 2003, Dr. Mung established a seminary in Yangon offering a Master of Divinity program. Many graduates (now over 1500) of FBBC and the two seminaries have become competent, influential leaders all over Myanmar.
Since Dr. Mung's death in July of 2021, David Mung, Dr. Mung's son, has been leading the ministry of the college and the seminary. In 2013, upon receiving a Pastoral Ministry degree, David first became a part of the leadership team when he took over as president of FBBC in Tedim. Since then, he has earned a Master of Religious Education degree while serving alongside his father. David is married with two children. He is thankful to have had the opportunity to work with his father and see his passion for God's glory. In David's words, "It's my earnest prayer to follow in my dad's footsteps and continue to expand the ministry he started."
Way to Pray: Please pray for the entire Mung family as they continue to minister in a politically volatile country. David and his family remain committed to the sharing and teaching of the Gospel in the midst of instability. Please pray for them as they care for those around them while dealing with fuel shortages, power outages, and more. Please also pray as their country has been devastated by the recent earthquakes. They are fine, but many people have lost their lives and homes because of the earthquake.
