The Faithfulness of God

Jason Malone - 7/24/2022

We’ve talked about the holiness of God, the sovereignty of God, the grace of God, the love of God, and other things as well. These attributes we have been talking about are not simply isolated character traits of God…they are facets of WHO he is. If you were to think about a diamond that is multifaceted—it has many sides and aspects but it is a diamond.

A.W. Tozer says it this way: “They (God’s attributes) are not things-in-themselves; they are, rather, thoughts by which we think of God aspects of a perfect whole, names given to whatever we know to be true of the Godhead. To have a correct understanding of the attributes it is necessary that we see them all as one. We can think of them separately but they cannot be separated.

All of God’s acts are consistent with all of His attributes. No attribute contradicts the other, but all harmonize and blend into each other in the infinite abyss of the Godhead. All that God does agrees with all that God is, and being and doing are one in Him.”

Here is your God…Creator, Holy, Sovereign, full of Grace and Love

  • That we come together today to worship.
  • That holds everything together.
  • That brings us to today and gives us the opportunity to ponder, remember, and celebrate our God, who is always FAITHFUL

*We are a church located in Greenville, South Carolina. Our vision is to see God transform us into a community of grace passionately pursuing life and mission with Jesus.
