- Read 2 Samuel 7:1-29
- Share a quick story of a significant conversation that impacted or altered the trajectory of your life. For some of you, this would be a great opportunity to share your story of coming to faith in Jesus.
- When and in what ways have you told God you would do something for Him, but your motivation for the “doing” was challenged?
- How does the fact that our God is a covenant-making God encourage you?
- Where are you currently struggling to entrust yourself to the care of our holy, with us, gracious God?
- Do you find it harder to praise God than ask Him for things? Why is that? How have you practically cultivated a habit and attitude of praise?
- Take some time and share some promises of God that you can close your community group time by praying back to Him.
