SERMON SUMMARY
Why do we gather in church on Sundays? We aren’t gathered for the pastor to simply tell you something if you are a follower of Jesus. We are gathered to do something, and that something is to raise our HALLELUJAH because of what God has done through Jesus. In Revelation 19, John is so overwhelmed at all he is taking in that he falls before the angel to worship, and the angel says…no, no, no. “worship God.” As we walk through the first 10 verses of Revelation 19, I believe we will be reminded that we do and we will, for eternity, gather to celebrate God’s triumph through Jesus Christ!

SUGGESTIONS FOR COMMUNITY GROUP QUESTIONS
- If it’s not already a regular practice, consider having a community group while partaking in a meal, and focus on people sharing their stories of grace.
- Read Revelation 19:1-10.
- How often do you think about “why” you are attending Fellowship Greenville on a Sunday? And when you think about the “why” what comes to mind?
- How can you more intentionally remind yourself and others that we do and we will, for eternity, gather to celebrate God’s triumph through Jesus Christ? What are the challenges of this kind of intentionality in our consumer-driven culture?
- In what practical and tangible ways are you currently thankful for the Lord’s salvation, glory, and power?
- How does God’s coming judgment that is true and just and everlasting shape your everyday life as a follower of Jesus?
- What is your heart towards those truly captivated in all things Babylon? How often do you find yourself judging those you actually have the opportunity to pray for and minister to in some way? Who are you currently praying for that is close to you but far from God?
- In what ways are you still tempted to live a life covered by guilt and shame even though, through Christ’s work on the cross, a feast awaits you?
- Take a moment and pray over anyone in your community group who is in a season of struggling to live in their true identity in Christ.
