SERMON SUMMARY
As Paul continues his autobiography in Galatians 2, he continues to drive home the point that if you add anything to faith in Christ…thinking somehow it will make you clean…or make you more acceptable to God…you LOSE the gospel. And that same principle applies just as much today as it did in Paul’s day. The gospel of grace not only saves us and transforms us…it unites us.

SUGGESTIONS FOR COMMUNITY GROUP QUESTIONS
Remember, these are “suggested” questions. You do not have to go through every single one of them. In fact, some of these questions may prompt other questions that may be important to group members. So, feel the freedom to explore other questions as long as they don’t become “rabbit trails.”
1. Read Galatians 2:1-10
2. Have you ever thought your “performance” counts towards your salvation or God’s love and acceptance of you? Why or Why not?
3. Do you ever feel guilty or insecure in your relationship with God? Why or Why not? What does this potentially tell you about how you view your acceptance of Him?
4. What are the “do” and “don’t do” attitudes or actions that your culture and upbringing taught you? In what ways did you see these things added to belief in Jesus as an expectation of other Christians?
5. Why do you think gospel unity is important within the church?
6. What would be the challenges of maintaining gospel unity within the church?
